When is the holiday park open?
The park is open from 1 March until 31 January.

When is reception open?
Reception is open seven days a week from 9am - 5.30pm. During busy periods hours will be extended. After 5:30pm please contact 01423 871350.

Who do I call in case of emergency?
Should you require immediate assistance please call Reception on 01423 871350.

What facilities are there? 
We offer a wide range of dining and leisure facilities, scenic gardens and estate walks. You may also benefit from the extensive hotel facilities which are within easy reach of the holiday park.

What do I need to bring?
All our self-catering properties have linen, fridges, toasters, microwaves, cutlery and crockery provided. Some properties also have a washing machine and dishwasher - these are detailed on the individual property fact sheet. Food and 

When is the shop open?
Please refer to your welcome pack on arrival.

How much is it to use the swimming pool?
Sessions are charged at £4.75 per person for 90 minutes.

What does the rate include?
Our rates include a pitch for your caravan or tent, electric hook up, one car and two adults and two children (aged 5 to 16). An additional charge will be made for extra guests.

How much does it cost for a tent or caravan pitch at Rudding Holiday Park?
Prices are dependent on the time of year. Please click here to view our current price list.

What do I do if I need to cancel a booking?
If you wish to cancel a booking please contact Reservations on 01423 870439. We regret that no refund will be made for cancellations made within 14 days of arrival.

Will I get a refund if it is bad weather?
Unfortunately not unless the holiday park is closed. 

My friends are staying at the park, can I book a pitch next to them?
Individual requests may be arranged prior to arrival by contacting reception on 01423 870439. Pitch requests cannot be guaranteed.

Can I bring a pet? What are the rules regarding animals at the Park?
Pets are welcome at Rudding Holiday Park. Dogs must be kept on a lead while in the park unless they are within the dog exercise area. 

How much is WiFi at the holiday park?
WiFi cards can be purchased at reception from £6.00.

What are the washroom and laundry facilities?

  • Centrally located in the park

  • Accessible toilet and shower facilities
  • Coin operated washing machines and tumble dryers

Can I hire a tent? 
Unfortunately we do not offer tent hire. 

Can we have a fire?
Open fires and fire pits are not permitted. Barbecues may only be lit in recognised containers and must not be placed directly on the grass. 

What are the local attractions?
Rudding Holiday Park is ideally located within easy reach of Harrogate, Leeds, York, the Dales National Park and tourist attractions. 

Does the Deer House Pub serve food all day and night?
The Deer House Family Pub is open from 1 March through to mid November. The opening times are dependent on the time of year. Please click here or refer to your welcome pack on arrival.

Is there any onsite entertainment?
Throughout the summer the pub hosts evening entertainment, pub quizzes and televises live sporting events. Please ask Reception for the opening times and entertainment schedule.

How can I book?
Caravan and tent reservations can be made online. For all other bookings, please call 01423 870439.

Can I be a seasonal tourer for 12 months of the year?
The season is 11 months from 1 March to 31 January.

Booking Conditions

Payment
Full payment is required at time of booking. We regret that no refund will be made for cancellations within 14 days of arrival. 

Reservations
We are a family park and reserve the right to refuse single sex groups as well as groups aged 18 and under.

Minimum stay requirements apply on certain dates throughout the year for example Bank Holidays and peak season weekends. 

Commercial Vehicles
Commercial vehicles are not permitted in the park and must be left in the car park by Reception.

Check In/ Check Out
Arrival is from 12 noon and departure is before 11am. Please check in and out at reception. 

An early check in or late check out can be arranged, subject to availability. For any special requests contact reception at the Holiday Park on 01423 870439 prior to your arrival. 

Holiday Park Policies

Barbecues
Barbecues may only be lit in recognised containers and must not be placed directly on the grass. No fire pits or open fires are permitted. 

Commercial Vehicles
Commercial vehicles are not permitted in the park and must be left in the car park by Reception.

Emergencies
In case of emergency please call Reception on 01423 870439.  After 5pm please contact 01423 871350.  Any minor problems should be reported to Reception so they may be rectified as soon as possible.

Groups
We are a family park and reserve the right to refuse single sex groups as well as groups aged 18 and under.

Management
Management reserve the right to refuse admission to the Park. 

Noise
We wish all our guests an enjoyable stay and as a consideration to fellow holidaymakers (some of whom have young children trying to sleep) we ask that noise levels are kept to a minimum in the evening.

Pets
Pets are welcome at Rudding Holiday Park. Dogs must be kept on a lead whilst in the park unless they are within the dog exercise area.

Security Barrier
A £5 deposit is payable for a security barrier pass.  Deposits can be collected during office hours.
