Payment
LODGES & COTTAGES SHORT LETS
A non refundable 50% deposit is required at time of booking. The outstanding balance is due six weeks prior to arrival. Should full payment not be received, we reserve the right to re-let the property. Please note that a charge of £50 will be made for the loss of property keys.
Should your booking be cancelled less than 6 weeks prior to your arrival, no refund will be made. In the event of a change of stay a fee of £50 per room would be applicable when amending the date of your stay outside of the cancellation policy. A change of date within the cancellation policy would be considered cancellation and full charges would apply. We recommend holiday insurance is taken out to cover any possible eventualities. Linen, towels, and all electricity and gas consumed are included in the holiday hire charge. Lodges are allocated on arrival and specific lodges cannot be guaranteed.
LODGES & COTTAGES LONG LETS
A £500 bond and the first month's rent is required at time of confirmation. Gas and electricity are based on meter readings and payable at the end of each calendar month.
CARAVANNING
Payment in full is required at the time of booking. In the event of cancellation, a 100% refund will apply when a cancellation takes place 7 days or more prior to arrival. Should your booking be cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival no refunds will be made. In the event of a change of stay a fee of £25 per pitch would be applicable when amending the date outside of the cancellation policy. A change of date within the cancellation policy would be considered cancellation and full charges would apply.
BEST RATE GUARANGEE
If you find a lower published rate prior to, or within 24 hours of, booking a property/pitch at Rudding Holiday Park on a third party website, submit this form and we will honour that lower rate.
Please note the rate must apply for the same style of pitch and arrival and departure dates. A screenshot of the lower rate and website will need to be provided.
Conditions: Please note the following exclusions will apply:
Special 'member only' rates available to members of special programmes or associations (i.e. employee discounts). Unpublished rates not available to the general public. Special "exclusive offers" or "online vouchers" offered by third party websites.
AMENDMENT
A change of date within the cancellation policy would be considered cancellation and full charges would apply.
Offers
All offers are subject to availability and can not be used in conjunction with any other offer. New bookings only. Terms and conditions are subject to change. All dates offered are subject to availability and can change on a daily basis. Bookings can only be made directly with Rudding Park unless otherwise stated. The offer rate quoted is an advance purchase rate and is paid in full at time of booking, no refunds, changes or transfers will be made for this offer.
All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
FOR LODGES
Arrival is from 4pm and departure is before 11am. An early check in or late check out can be arranged subject to availability. For any special requests please call 01423 870439 prior to your arrival.
FOR CARAVANNING
Arrival is from 12pm with last arrival accepted up to 10pm and departure is before 11am. An early check in or late check out can be arranged subject to availability. For any special requests please call 01423 870439 prior to your arrival.
If you wish to guarantee the availability prior to check in, we recommend reserving the night before your expected arrival.
Whilst we endeavour to accommodate all requests for pitch allocations, we are sadly unable to guarantee these.
We reserve the right to refuse check-in under the following circumstances:
1. Unpaid or Invalid Reservations: If the reservation is not confirmed or the payment method provided is invalid.
2. Identification Requirements: Failure to provide valid identification (such as a government-issued ID or passport) matching the reservation details.
3. Behavioural Concerns: If a guest exhibits inappropriate behaviour, is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or poses a safety risk to other guests or staff.
4. Breach of Holiday Park Policies: If a guest has previously violated Holiday Park policies or caused disturbances including but not limited to anti-social behaviour.
5. Overbooking Situations: In the rare event of an overbooking, where no pitches are available despite a confirmed reservation.
MANAGED PROPERTIES
For bookings of properties within our letting scheme, Rudding Park acts solely as an agent on behalf of the property owner. The accommodation contract is formed directly between the guest and the property owner.
Rudding Park receives booking payments as an agent and transfers these funds (less commission and applicable charges) to the owner. Rudding Park is not the supplier of the accommodation and does not assume responsibility as principal for the provision of the accommodation.
POLICIES
Emergencies
In the case of emergency please call Reception on 01423 870439. After 5pm call 01423 871350. Any minor problems should be reported to Reception so they may be rectified as soon as possible.
Management
Please be aware, the management reserve the right to refuse admission to single sex groups as well as groups aged 18 and under. Commercial vehicles are not permitted on the park and must be left in the car park by Reception.
Pets
Pets are welcome at Rudding Holiday Park. Dogs must be kept on a lead whilst on the Park unless they are within the dog exercise area.
Park Etiquette
Noisy, offensive or inappropriate behaviour or actions likely to cause harm to any other guest, members of our staff or anyone’s property at the holiday park will not be tolerated and we reserve the right to refuse entry to and/or eject any person who, in the reasonable opinion of the management of the park, does not comply with these standards of behaviour. No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.
Noise must bge kept to a reasonable level. Music must be turned off by 11pm and any gathering must be dispersed by 11pm. Our noise curfew is from 11pm until 9am. Please be considerate of other guests.
CHILDREN
All children must be properly supervised by parents or guardians throughout your holiday, including all park organised activities. We reserve the right to deny access to our facilities and/or any children’s activities if, in the reasonable opinion of the management of the park, we believe that any child or children will be unduly disruptive.
The use of motorised scooters, segways and Go-Karts is not permitted.
SERVICE CHARGE
This is a payment which recognises and rewards all employees who deliver outstanding guest service. The optional service charge is calculated on the total bill before any discounts. At the Deerhouse, this is 12.5% on food and drink.
